Resumen de Introducing Journal of Chemical Education Virtual Festschrifts

Thomas A. Holme

  • The Journal of Chemical Education has served as a primary publishing outlet for scholarly work in chemistry education for nearly 100 years. Over that time, there have been contributions from thousands of authors. Yet, within this impressive sample of educator authors, key leaders have emerged whose contributions to the teaching and learning of chemistry have been influential over time. With articles available electronically, the Journal will honor these key leaders by collecting (i) their seminal works and (ii) subsequent articles that expand upon those important contributions into Virtual Festschrifts. The collections may be celebratory or posthumous. The first two such collections have been posted in the summer of 2021, honoring the contributions of Dorothy Gabel and George M. Bodner.
