    En el reinado de Felipe II proliferaron los impostores, personas que fingieron ser otras para prosperar o delinquir. Entre las relaciones de causas y causas de fe de la Inquisición toledana hemos identificado a varios vizcaínos, como se calificaba a los vascos y navarros en la corona de Castilla. Además, el aura de limpieza de sangre e hidalguía universal que orbitaba sobre ellos es aprovechado por una estirpe judeoconversa de laCiudad Imperial, los San Pedro, para pasarse por oriundos del norte peninsular. La microhistoria nos permite vislumbrar la consideración de este colectivo en el corazón del Imperio español, sus estrategias de enriquecimiento o supervivencia.

    In the reign of Felipe II there were a lot of impostors, people who pretended to be others to thrive or commit whatsoever crimes. Through the relations of causes of faith of the Inquisition of Toledo we have identified several Biscayns in the lands of that archbishopric, a name given to those Basques and Navarrese in the Crown of Castile. Besides, the aura of purity of blood and universal hidalguía that were upon them were used by a Toledan Jewish-converted lineage, the San Pedro, to pass themselves off as natives of northern lands. Microhistory allows us, to be able to glimpse the consideration of this group in the heart of the Spanish Empire, their enrichment strategies or their survival.

    Felipe II.aren erregealdian, iruzurti ugari egon ziren: beste pertsona bat zirelako itxura egiten zutenak, horrela gizartean aurrera egiteko edo delituak egiteko. Toledoko kausen eta fede-kausen dokumentuetan (relaciones izenekoetan) zenbait vizcaíno aurkitu ditugu; halaxe deitzen zitzaien euskaldunei Gaztelako koroan. Gainera, haien odol garbiaren eta kaparetasun unibertsalaren aura Hiri Inperialeko leinu judeokonbertso batek (San Pedrotarrak) aprobetxatu zuen, jatorriz Penintsulako iparraldekoak zirelako itxura egin baitzuten. Mikrohistoriak uzten digu atzematen kolektibo hori nola ikusten zuten Inperio espainolaren erdigunean, eta talde horrek aberasteko eta bizirik irauteko zer estrategia zituen.
