The article reports on the dynamics and opinions that emerged during the Round Table “The library for you: users, stakeholders, policy makers (and librarians) in comparison”, which took place on 26 February during the Turin stage of the Stelline Conference, a historic appointment of Italian librarians spread over four stages in 2021. One of the most important aspects that emerged was the need to develop a network strategy that would enable libraries to multiply their impact on society and on their political and economic partners. It also emerged that the participants wanted to create a permanent round table for comparison and coordination to support public libraries by creating stable forms of alliance.
