Resumen de Modelos integrativos y constructos relacionados del bienestar emocional, psicológico y social

El presente artículo de investigación se encarga de revisar tres modelos teóricos e integrativos del bienestar que conducen al funcionamiento óptimo individual y colectivo de acuerdo con la literatura científica:
el bienestar emocional (hedónico), el psicológico (eudaimónico) y el social.
A partir del enfoque salutogénico de la Psicología Positiva y las definiciones tradicionales y vigentes del bienestar, se analizan y documentan cada uno de los modelos propuestos como una aproximación válida y confiable de lo que es la salud mental en la actualidad. Asimismo, se ahonda en algunas variables demográficas, constructos y factores específicos que forman parte de cada uno de estos modelos. Finalmente, se presentan algunas de las direcciones futuras que deben ocupar no sólo a la Psicología Positiva, sino a la Psicología, en general, y a las sociedades que aspiran a promover la salud mental desde la comprensión integral del bienestar.

The present research article provides and reviews three theoretical and integrative models of well-being that promotes the individual and collective optimal functioning according to the scientific literature: emotional well-being (hedonic), psychological well-being (eudaimonic) and social well-being. From the salutogenic approach of Positive Psychology and the traditional and current definitions of well-being, each of the proposed models is analyzed and documented as a valid and reliable approach to what mental health is today. Likewise, it delves into some demographic variables, constructs and specific factors that are part of each of these models.
Finally, this paper presents some of the future directions that must occupy not only Positive Psychology, but Psychology in general and societies that aspire to promote mental health from a comprehensive understanding of well-being.
