El número 10 de “Colección Bitácora”, edición de la Dirección Cultural de la Universidad Industrial de Santander, nos viene a deleitar con un bello relato traído de la imaginación. La autora, la profesora Judith Nieto López; al fondo, Manuela Sáenz; el motivo, una carta que brota de su mano para Simón Bolívar. Pero… ¿Por qué esta necesidad de la palabra, hoy, casi doscientos años después? La respuesta no puede ser mejor: "A veces me siento como agarrada a una barca que amenaza dejarme indefensa en alta mar, pero gracias a mi palabra, sólo con el beneficio de mi palabra, hoy estoy aferrada, pegada al único grano de arena que no se deshace por obra de la mano húmeda que lo empuña".

The author, Professor Judith Nieto López; in the background, Manuela Sáenz; the reason, a letter that springs from his hand for Simón Bolívar. But ... Why this need of the word, today, almost two hundred years later?
