De la filosofía establecida al pensamiento filosófico itinerante: el debate sobre el pluralismo como política filosófica de descentramiento

    Si la reflexión sobre el pluralismo sólo puede hacerse como invocación, llamado, reconocimiento e inclusión del otro ausente, debe asimismo desarrollarse sobre la base de las plurisémicas acepciones del término pluralismo y a partir de la experiencia del hacerse presente en el mundo, en virtud de una actitud de vigilancia que abre el camino de otra forma de concebir la actividad del filósofo en cuanto pensamiento itinerante. Ésta es la razón por la cual la reflexión sobre el pluralismo precisa, por parte del filósofo, de una radical y vital experiencia de apertura, como también de descentramiento, desarraigo y desinmunización, es decir, de un pensamiento que se rehúsa a toda forma de purismo y actitud ideocrática y autorreferencial, con respecto a sí mismo, al otro y al mundo.

    If reflection on pluralism can only be made as an invocation, call, recognition and inclusion of the absent other, it should also be developed on the basis of the plurisemic meanings of the term pluralism and based on the experience of being present in the world, by virtue of an attitude of vigilance that opens the way to another way of conceiving the activity of the philosopher as itinerant thought. This is the reason why reflection on pluralism requires, on the part of the philosopher, a radical and vital experience of openness, as well as decentering, uprooting and de-immunization, that is, a thought that refuses all forms of purism and ideocratic and self-referential attitude, with respect to itself, to the other and to the world.
