  El Acuerdo de París y la Agenda 2030 de desarrollo sostenible son ahora los grandes retos a nivel mundial y se consolidan cada vez más haciendo que ambos sean prioridades estratégicas en distintas organizaciones y la pandemia de la COVID-19 ha acentuado su necesidad. La magnitud de ambos retos requiere de la acción de todos los agentes y en ese cometido las alianzas han de tener un papel clave. De hecho, las alianzas están llamadas a ser la nueva infraestructura institucional para abordar los problemas complejos actuales y requieren, por tanto, de una transformación profunda a varios niveles (regulación, procesos y valores). Los estudios muestran que el número de alianzas e iniciativas está en aumento y, además, hay un amplio espectro de tipologías, con enfoques y objetivos que van desde lo general y multisectorial a iniciativas muy concretas y dirigidas. Para que estas iniciativas sean exitosas, se proponen diez factores clave a tener en cuenta.

  The Paris Agreement and The Agenda 2030 for sustainable development are now the greatest challenges at a global level. They are becoming increasingly consolidated making them strategic priorities in different organisations and the COVID-19 pandemic has stressed their need. The size of both challenges requires action from all agents and in this endeavour partnerships must have a key role. In fact, partnerships are destined to become the new institutional infrastructure to tackle the complex problems or our days and, as such, require a deep transformation at different levels (regulation, processes and values). Research shows that the number of partnerships and initiatives is increasing and additionally there is wide spectrum of typologies, with approaches and targets spanning from more general and multisectoral to very specific and targeted initiatives. For these initiatives to be successful 10 key factors are proposed for consideration.
