    El objetivo del presente trabajo fue analizar la cronología y características de los circuitos permanentes de orientación deEspaña. La muestra de este trabajo estuvo formado por aquellos circuitos permanentes de orientación cuya existencia en España pudo sercomprobada (n = 115). La búsqueda de la muestra se llevó a cabo, principalmente, a través del motor de búsqueda Google. Tras estabúsqueda se analizaron diversas variables como el año de creación, lugar donde se encuentra, modalidad, entorno, sistema de control, etc.,a través del SPSS 20.0 mediante una estadística descriptiva e inferencial.A partir de los resultados se puede observar una tendenciacreciente en el número de circuitos permanentes de orientación, siendo el primer circuito inaugurado en 2004. La modalidad predominantees la O-pie, y en cuanto al tipo de entorno, en abiertos predomina el medio natural y en entornos delimitados los parques. El sistema decontrol más utilizado es la baliza editada con códigos de puntos, letras, etc. Se puede concluir que los circuitos permanentes de orientaciónhan ido aumentando a lo largo de los años, teniendo un aumento considerable en los últimos 5 años en comparación con los años anteriores.Además, su presencia está repartida de forma irregular por España y en ellos se integran las tecnologías, recurso tan presente en nuestrasociedad y en muchos ámbitos.

    The objective of this study was to analyze the chronology and characteristics of the permanent orienteering circuits in Spain.The sample of this work consisted of those permanent orientation circuits whose existence in Spain could be verified (n = 115). Thesearch for the sample was carried out mainly through the Google search engine. After this search, various variables such as the year ofcreation, place where it is located, modality, environment, control system, etc., were analyzed through SPSS 20.0 using descriptive andinferential statistics. From the results, a growing trend can be observed in the number of permanent orienteering circuits, being the firstcircuit inaugurated in 2004. The predominant modality is the O-pie, and as for the type of environment, in open the natural environmentand in limited environments the parks. The most used control system is the beacon edited with point codes, letters, etc. It can beconcluded that the permanent orienteering circuits have been increasing over the years, having a considerable increase in the last 5 yearscompared to the previous years. In conclusion, their presence is unevenly distributed throughout Spain and technologies are integratedinto them, a resource so present in our society and in many areas.
