Resulta perjudicial tener algo que se parece a diferentes enfermedades, pero no son ninguna de ellas, porque para poder descubrir cuál es, hay que pasarse un tiempo considerable en un hospital. Esto es lo que le ha tocado vivir a Ana, que con 23 años de edad y después de cuatro meses ingresada en una unidad de neurología, se le ha dado el alta al domicilio, con aún muchos síntomas que la incapacitan en su vida diaria, conociéndose qué tiene, pero no sabiendo qué lo produce. Toda esta experiencia ha marcado su carácter y este relato es fiel reflejo de ello.
It can be detrimental to have a condition that resembles several different diseases, and yet is none of them then is because a considerable time must be spent in hospital attempting to discover the disease. This is what happened to Ana, aged 23 years that after four months in the neurology service of the hospital, she was discharged at home, but still had many symptoms that left her incapacitated for everyday activities and the doctors knew what was happening but they did not knew the cause.
