Resumen de Tendencias recientes en la historiografía española sobre el comunismo (2001-2020)

En los últimos veinte años la historiografía española sobre el comunismo ha alcanzado un gran despliegue. Las siguientes páginas trazan las líneas generales de este fenómeno, subrayando las aportaciones del ámbito académico, sin olvidar otras aproximaciones. Este estudio no aspira a ser exhaustivo, limitándose a citar ejemplos de las principales tendencias actuales. Se realizará un repaso de la historiografía sobre el comunismo español, desde sus orígenes hasta finales del siglo XX. A continuación, se señalará la incidencia del movimiento memorialista en las publicaciones sobre el PCE. Se comentarán los avances obtenidos en el conocimiento de los grandes períodos de la historia de este partido y se analizarán las contribuciones de proyectos colectivos y los productos bibliográficos del «revisionismo neofranquista». Finalmente, se realizará un balance general.

In the last twenty years the Spanish historiography on communism has reached an intense development. The following pages aim to outline the general lines of this phenomenon, the emphasising the contributions from the academic field, without forgetting other approaches. This study does not aspire to be exhaustive, limiting itself to citing examples of the main ongoing trends. There will be a review of the historiography on Spanish communism, from its origins to the end of the 20th century. We will then point out the impact of the memorial movement in the publications on the PCE. We will analyse the advances obtained in the knowledge of the great periods of the history of this party and the contributions of collective projects and the bibliographical products of the «neo-Franco revisionism». Finally, a general assessment will be made.
