    We intend to make a brief review of the most popular martial disciplines in the West, taking into account some premises about their origins and diffusion in Asia. We will focus on the founding of a new style of Nihon Tai Jitsu in order to interpret the meaning of the study of Martial Arts and its diffusion in our time, therefore making a brief contextualization without pretending to fall into any historical anachronism or determine the differences that exist between the terms Martial Art and Contact Sport. We will use a literary bibliography as tools of the great diffusion that Martial Arts have in the West.

    Pretendemos hacer una breve revisión de las disciplinas marciales más difundidas en occidente, teniendo en cuenta algunas premisas sobre sus orígenes y difusión en Asia. Nos centraremos en la fundación de un nuevo estilo de Nihon Tai Jitsu con el fin de interpretar el significado que supone el estudio de las Artes Marciales y su difusión en nuestros tiempo, realizando por tanto una breve contextualización sin pretender caen en ningún anacronismo histórico ni determinar las diferencias que existen entre los términos Arte Marcial y Deporte de Contacto. Utilizaremos una bibliografía literaria como herramientas de la gran difusión que tienen las Artes Marciales en occidente.
