  Este artículo establece la incompatibilidad entre cristianismo y liberalismo económico considerando tres fuentes: i) La filosofía cristiana, cuya noción de libertad positiva no puede reducirse a la mera libertad negativa a la que el liberalismo da primacía y centralidad; ii) la Biblia, que establece el deber de pagar impuestos y la justicia social; iii) la Doctrina Social de la Iglesia, que entra en conflicto con el liberalismo en cuestiones relacionadas con la justicia social, la regulación del mercado laboral y la intervención del Estado.

  This paper establishes the incompatibility between Christianism and economic liberalism by considering three sources: i) Christian philosophy, whose notion of positive liberty cannot be reduced to the mere negative liberty, which has centrality and primacy in liberalism; ii) the Bible, which establish the duty to pay taxes and social justice; iii) the Social Doctrine of the Church, which is at odds with liberalism in issues related to social justice, labor market regulation and State intervention.
