Turismo voluntário em Portugal: a solidariedade como fator de deslocação

  The opportunity to study Volunteer Tourism emerged from the need to explore innovative tourism segmentations, involving topics such as: Cultural Tourism, Community Work, Active and Niche Tourism, among others, which reveal the current need of the tourist in wanting to help, also taking the opportunity to interact with the local community, and contribute to the development of this and for their personal development. In addition to an analysis of Voluntourists in the World, an exploratory study on Volunteer Tourism in Portugal was also conducted, since this is a currently growing branch, which includes concrete examples and proposals for action that may be developed in the near future.

  A oportunidade de estudar o Turismo Voluntário surgiu da necessidade em explorar segmentações turísticas inovadoras, envolvendo temáticas como: Turismo Cultural, Trabalho Comunitário, Turismo Ativo e de Nicho, entre outras, as quais revelam o interesse do turista em querer ajudar, tendo igualmente a oportunidade de interagir com a comunidade local, e contribuir para o desenvolvimento desta e para o seu desenvolvimento pessoal. Para além de uma análise do Volunturista no Mundo, foi também realizada um estudo exploratório sobre o Turismo Voluntário em Portugal, visto que esta vertente se encontra atualmente em crescimento, o qual inclui exemplos concretos e propostas de ação que poderão ser desenvolvidas num futuro próximo.
