    Se estudia el desafío que asume la educación humanista ante la formación docente desde la perspectiva de Antonio Pérez Esclarín, con el fin de vigorizar el modelo docencia-servicio-investigación obteniendo la responsabilidad de promover la construcción de una enseñanza popular, humanista y liberadora, con alto nivel de calidad. La labor docente es vista como un credo, como una acción creativa que fortalece en el discente un pensamiento crítico, ético y con alta consciencia social, cuyo fin último es la dignificación del individuo y su contribución a la eliminación de las desigualdades. Encausando la teoría con la praxis, el docente encamina su vocación hacia la consecución de metas asumiendo el reto de la propuesta que promueve el autor desde lo humanístico.

    The challenge that humanistic education assumes in the face of teacher training is studied from the perspective of Antonio Pérez Esclarín, in order to invigorate the teaching-service-research model, obtaining the responsibility of promoting the construction of a popular, humanistic and liberating education, with high level of quality. The teaching work is seen as a creed, as a creative action that strengthens in the student critical, ethical and highly socially conscious thinking, whose ultimate goal is the dignity of the individual and his contribution to the elimination of inequalities. By channeling theory with praxis, the teacher directs his vocation towards the achievement of goals, assuming the challenge of the proposal promoted by the author from the humanistic point of view.
