    El propósito de este trabajo es analizar el proceso de devenir sujeto -assujetisement- a partir de las obras de Louis Althusser y Judith Butler. Más específicamente, se abordará el carácter ambivalente que adquieren tanto el poder como el sujeto, en tanto que la norma social no solo es aquella que oprime al individuo desde fuera y limita su libertad sino que, además, es aquella que posibilita su agencia. El sujeto se forma en la sujeción debido al vínculo pasional de dependencia que establece el niño/a con aquellos de quienes depende. Esta subordinación fundacional también puede ser leída como una violencia primaria, ya que el individuo emerge contra sí mismo para, finalmente, persistir en sí mismo. Siendo que el sujeto no es producido unilateralmente sino iterativamente, es esta capacidad performativa de asunción del poder aquella que le otorga la posibilidad de subvertir la norma que le da origen y continuidad.

    The purpose of this work is to analyse the process of becoming subject ‒ assujetisement‒ in the works of Louis Althusser and Judith Butler. More specifically, the ambivalent character acquired by both power and the subject will be addressed, since the social norm is not only that which oppresses the individual from the outside and limits their freedom, but also that which enables their agency. The subject is formed in subjection due to the passionate bond of dependency that the child establishes with those on whom he depends.

    This foundational subordination can also be read as a primary violence, since the individual emerges against himself to finally persist in himself. Since the subject is not produced unilaterally but iteratively, it is this performative capacity for assuming power that gives him the possibility of subverting the norm that gives him origin and continuity.
