Factores de formulación que afectan el tiempo de degradación de las cápsulas blandas

    El objetivo de este trabajo es evaluar el efecto del agente plastificante, el tiempo de mezclado, la temperatura y la cantidad de plastificante en la formulación de capsula blanda. Para estudiar el tiempo de degradación de la capsula en agua, se construyó un diseño de experimento por bloque de cuadrados grecolatinos, se diseñó y llevó a cabo un protocolo de experimentación, minimizando los ruidos experimentales controlables. Posteriormente, se construyó un diseño factorial 2k para evaluar el tiempo de degradación de la capsula en medio alcohólico formuladas con diferentes tipos y cantidades de plastificantes. Los resultados evidencian que el tiempo de mezclado y la temperatura no presentan efectos significativos sobre la variable de respuesta. La cantidad de plastificante y el tipo de plastificante son factores influyentes en el tiempo de degradación en agua; solo el tipo de plastificante fue influyente para el tiempo de degradación de la capsula en alcohol.

    The aimof this work is to evaluate the effect of the plasticizer, the mixing time, the temperature and the amount of plasticizer in the soft capsule formulation. To study the degradation time of the capsule in water, an experiment design per block of Greco-Latinsquares was built, an experimentation protocol was designed and carried out, minimizing controllable experimental noises. Subsequently, a 2kfactorial design was built to evaluate the degradation time of the capsule in alcoholic medium formulated with different types and amounts of plasticizers. The results show that the mixing time and temperature do not present significant effects on the response variable. The amount of plasticizer and the type of plasticizer are influencing factors in the degradation time in water; and only the type of plasticizer was influential for the degradation time of the capsule in alcohol.
