    Este articulo tiene como propósito dar valor al trabajo realizado por el Ballet Folklórico Nacional de Chile (BAFONA) en torno a las artes escénicas y oficios que se realizan en la producción de su espectáculo y que por tener carácter de itinerante nos habla de una forma particular de adaptarse al medio, a la geografía local. Puntualmente en esta investigación se aborda la manera que tiene la compañía en el diseño, confección del traje tradicional, su adaptación para el escenario. El trabajo de técnicos: vestuario, sonido, iluminación y utilería. Además del trabajo en la danza y la interpretación musical. Las técnicas de recolección de datos utilizadas fueron las entrevistas no estructuradas a los profesionales, técnicos de la compañía y ex miembros. Las conclusiones alcanzadas en la investigación resultan de suma importancia puesto que nos hablan del método de trabajo de la compañía, permitido la formación de connotados artistas y maestros, fortalecido la identidad en nuestros compatriotas, y ha sido escuela del folklore nacional, ad portas de sus 50 años.

    BAFONA, has fulfilled with worthiness its work of spreading the dance and the traditional Latin American music, and with the recreation that is made in scene, has motivated the birth of new dance and music companies, allowing the formation of famous artists and masters, strengthening the identity in our compatriots. In addition, the ballet has been school of national folklore.

    One of its missions is to do an important work, in favor of the acces to the culture in a continuous tour through Chile and as cultural ambassador around the world.

    The investigation is fixed with an exhibition and a documentary about the National folkloric ballet, making a staging, which becomes important for the heritage, which brings together its method of work, being this one unique in Chile, and understanding that through it, it emerges all its wealth, in a creative and technical work, with the practice of specialized trades, that contribute to scenic arts of the country; we can identify why all Chileans have to appreciate the ballet. BAFONA is our ballet!
