Ideología y cine a través de la prensa cinematográfica del tardofranquismo: De Primer plano a Fotogramas

    El cine español del tardofranquismo ha sido objeto de múltiples estudios parciales, así como de algunas síntesis de conjunto presentes en los principales manuales de Historia del Cine español. Como es lógico, en muchos de ellos -aunque no en todos- se ha utilizado, como una fuente importante, pero siempre puntual, las referencias aparecidas en las revistas cinematográficas del momento en torno a la marcha del cine español en ese periodo. Sin embargo, hasta hoy en día, no se había realizado un estudio de ese material hemerográfico de forma sistemática, hasta el punto de convertirse en fuente primaria, tal y como se pretende en este trabajo. Lo cual nos permitirá estudiar muchas referencias hemerográficas inéditas, a través de las cuales es posible reconstruir con gran precisión, y en tiempo presente, el poliédrico y complejísimo panorama del cine español de la década de los sesenta y primera mitad del decenio siguiente. De ese modo, tomando como hilo conductor algunas de las revistas cinematográficas y culturales más significativas de este periodo (Primer Plano, Cinestudio y Reseña, principalmente) pretendemos llevar a cabo una radiografía exhaustiva de la realidad cinematográfica de la España del tardofranquismo.

    Tardofranquism Spanish cinema has been the subject of multiple partial studies, as well as some general syntheses in the manuals of Spanish Cinema’s History. Obviously, many of them -although not all- have used, as an important source, but always punctual, the references that appeared in the cinematographic magazines of the moment about the progress of Spanish cinema in that period. However, until today, a study of this hemerographic material had not been carried out in a systematic way, to the point of becoming a primary source, as we hope in this work. This will allow us to study many unpublished hemerographic references, through which it is possible to reconstruct with great precision, and in the present tense, the multifaceted and highly complex panorama of Spanish cinema of the sixties and the first half of the following decade. In this way, studying some of the most significant cinematographic and cultural magazines of this period (Primer Plano, Cinestudio and Reseña, mainly), we intend to carry out an exhaustive radiography of the cinematographic reality of spanish late Francoism.
