  • This work presents the transcription of two unpublished scrolls written in Soldaia (today Solgat, Crimea) in September 1276. They are kept in the Archives of Pisa’s Charterhouse. Both scrolls are of particular interest as they provide evidence of the presence of traders from Pisan in Soldaia and their trade with Acri, Constantinople and the coast of Asia Minor. They are also very rare examples of original acts drawn up in one of the Black Sea settlements
