  • From the point of view of constitutional law, the juxtaposition of the two terms – globalization and religions – seems particularly fruitful. On the one hand, religions have to be considered as potentially conflicting world views that must be subjected to that process of pacification theorized by post-World War II constitutionalism; on the other hand, because globalization has been the main cause of the crisis of national state, where up to now this process of pacification has taken place. For these reasons, the juxtaposition of the two terms could be useful in thinking about the process of constitutionalization at a global level, but this global constitutionalism would be without legal enforcement
