    Este artículo analiza los procesos de resistencia de los grupos indígenas malfines y andalgalás desde un enfoque de larga duración. Se mostrará que estas parcialidades, protagonistas del telón sur del ‘Gran Alzamiento Diaguita’ de 1630, siguieron resistiendo y elaboraron respuestas creativas para lograr su reproducción a pesar de haber sido vencidos, reasentados y otorgados en encomienda. Para ello, se propone analizar el rol de la memoria colectiva en las disputas por el acceso a la tierra. Se examinarán tres coyunturas donde los indígenas, a través de sus autoridades étnicas, resignifican y recrean el vínculo con los territorios de los que fueron desnaturalizados, reparando en los usos estratégicos del pasado. Se abordará la relación entre identidad(es), territorio y memoria(s), enfatizando la agencia nativa y sus estrategias de negociación y resistencia. Veremos que los cambios originados con las desnaturalizaciones generaron un contexto propicio para la reconfiguración de sus identidades.

    This article analyses the resistance of the malfín and andalgalá indigenous groups from a long-term perspective. These people, protagonists of the southern ‘Great Diaguita Uprising’ of 1630, despite been defeated and resettled continued resisting, and elaborated creative responses to the colonial domination. The aim of this article is to analyse the role of the collective memory in several disputes over land access. I will examine three junctures where the indigenous, through their ethnic authorities, resignify and recreate the bond with the territories from which they were expelled. The relationship between identities, territory and memories will be studied, emphasizing the native agency and their strategies of negotiation and resistance. We will see that the changes caused by the denaturalizations generated a propitious context for the reconfiguration of their identities.
