    Este trabajo se realiza con el objetivo de demostrar la importancia de los estudios pragmáticos en la interpretación y el análisis de las oraciones imperativas directivas y no directivas para saber sus diferentes funciones comunicativas. Partimos de la hipótesis de que no todas las oraciones imperativas se usan para mandar u ordenar, sino que su manejo podría ser útil en el caso de prohibir, pedir algo, dar consejos, advertir, sugerir, invitar, dar instrucciones, ofrecer algo, dar permiso, expresar imprecaciones, hacer recomendaciones, expresar rechazo, reproche, amenaza, condición, consolación, persuasión, consentimiento, etc. El corpus que será la base de nuestro análisis se recoge de Lo prohibido, una de las novelas poco conocidas del escritor español Benito Pérez Galdós (1971).

    The main aim of this work is studying the importance of pragmatic in the interpretation of directive and non-directive imperative clauses to focus on their different interactive functions. Our hypothesis is based on that not all imperative clauses are used to command or order, but their handling could be useful in the case of prohibiting, asking for something, giving advice, warning, suggesting, inviting orders, giving instructions, offering something, giving permission, cursing, making recommendations, expressing rejection, reproach, threat, condition, persuasion, consent, etc. The corpus that will be the basis of our analysis is collected from The prohibited, one of the little-known novels of the Spanish writer Benito Pérez Galdós (1971).
