En esta situación de pandemia, los terapeutas sistémicos hemos de atender la novedad de ciertos aspectos de elaboración del duelo, como el llamado “duelo pospuesto”.
Teniendo en cuenta la onda de choque emocional de Bowen, habrá que integrar en el futuro estos acontecimientos en un relato que dé sentido a la experiencia de los supervivientes. Destacamos la muerte como fenómeno relacional, el peso del ritual y las herramientas que los terapeutas están en condiciones de utilizar para el abordaje de esta nueva situación.

In this pandemic situation, systemic therapists have to attend to the novelty of certain aspects of the elaboration of mourning, such as the so-called “postponed mourning”. Given Bowen’s emotional shock wave, these events will need to be integrated in the future into a narrative that makes sense of the survivors’ experience. We highlight death as a relational phenomenon, the weight of the ritual and the tools that therapists are able to use to address this new situation.
