  El tema de las fronteras es tan interesante como complejo, y al mismo tiempo tan antiguo como actual. En este artículo nos centramos en la frontera entre los Estados Unidos de Norteamérica y México, abordada tanto históricamente como haciendo referencia a tiempos más modernos y recientes. En general se puede decir que es una zona de límite que se encuentra al límite por muchas cuestiones; en efecto, se está aquejada por numerosos problemas, algunos de ellos de extrema gravedad. Hay actividades que son lícitas a un lado de la frontera, e ilegales al otro. Y de estas últimas hay muchas, en cantidad y variedad

  The subject of borders is as interesting as it is complex, and at the same time as old as it is current. In this article we focus on the border between the United States of America and Mexico, approached both historically and with reference to more modern and recent times. In general, it can be said that it is a limit zone that is at the limit for many reasons; indeed, it is afflicted by numerous problems, some of them extremely serious. There are activities that are legal on one side of the border, and illegal on the other. And of the latter there are many, in quantity and variety.
