    Aquest treball descriu la documentació que constitueix el fons patrimonial Riera-Castelló de Romanyà de la Selva (1407-1893), actualment conservat a l'Arxiu Municipal de Santa Cristina d'Aro. La descripció permet comprendre el mecanisme de formació d'un fons d'aquestes característiques i les tipologies documentals més predominants. En paral·lel, s'identifiquen les principals etapes en l'evolució del patrimoni familiar entre els segles XIII i XIX, esdevenint un exemple il·lustratiu del procés d'ampliació de determinades explotacions a la Catalunya rural durant aquest periode, amb l'adquisició d'altres masos de Romanyà i de Vidreres. Finalment, s'indiquen les potencialitats d'estudi que el fons proporciona als investigadors

    This work describes the documentation that constitutes the Riera-Castelló heritage collection of Romanyà de la Selva (1407-1893), currently preserved in the Municipal Archive of Santa Cristina d'Aro. The description allows to understand the mechanism of formation of a fund of these characteristics and the most predominant documentary typologies. In parallel, the main stages in the evolution of the family heritage between the 13th and 19th centuries are identified, becoming an illustrative example of the process of expansion of certain farms in rural Catalonia during this period, with the acquisition of other farmhouses in Romanyà and Vidreres. Finally, the study potentials that the fund provides to researchers are indicated
