El objeto de este artículo no es otro que el de dar a conocer la extensa y prolífica intrahistoria de este enclave industrial, íntimamente ligado a la bahía de Cádiz (España) y concretamente a Puerto Real a partir de su fundación, en fecha sobre la que no existe unanimidad de criterio entre los autores e investigadores que han acometido el estudio del mismo.
