    La innovación marca la diferencia entre la supervivencia o la desaparición de una empresa. En un mundo globalizado el innovar es una tarea a ser desarrollada a diario, es un proceso continuo y dinámico, no estacional. La innovación debe ir de la mano con la Responsabilidad Social Empresarial, pues debe propender por ser un instrumento que proporcione una ventaja competitiva para la empresa y al mismo tiempo un beneficio real para todos los grupos de interés y para el medio ambiente. Si bien los distintos avances tecnológicos han ido reconfigurando las estructuras convencionales del empleo, las organizaciones deben procurar fortalecer a toda costa su talento humano, al ser su principal activo y del cual surgen las ideas innovadoras. El mundo como tal está cambiando a una velocidad vertiginosa y esto hace que tanto las organizaciones como las personas deban buscar la manera de estar a la vanguardia y de mantener una actitud de constante aprendizaje, con el ánimo de fortalecer aquellas habilidades clave para asumir los nuevos retos propios del cambio. El reto será entonces poder equilibrar los intereses de los diferentes grupos involucrados: los empresarios y accionistas esperan apalancarse en la innovación para disminuir costos y aumentar su rentabilidad, los empleados confían en conservar sus puestos de trabajo y seguir generando ideas, y la sociedad en general demanda aporte de valor desde las empresas hacia su entorno, ayudando a las comunidades donde se instalan y realizando acciones eficaces para el cuidando el medio ambiente. La especie humana ha sobrevivido y prevalecido gracias a su capacidad creativa, pero también puede ser culpable de su propia debacle si no le apuesta a una innovación responsable de generar beneficios integrales y un crecimiento sostenido para todas las partes interesadas.

    Innovation makes the difference between the survival or disappearance of a company. In a globalized world, innovating is a task to be developed on a daily basis, it is a continuous and dynamic process, not seasonal. Innovation must go hand in hand with Corporate Social Responsibility, as it should be a tool that provides a competitive advantage for the company and at the same time a real benefit for all stakeholders and the environment. While different technological advances have been reconfiguring conventional employment structures, organizations must seek to strengthen their human talent at all costs, as they are their main asset and from which innovative ideas emerge. The world as such is changing at breakneck speed and this means that both organizations and individuals must look for ways to be at the forefront and maintain an attitude of constant learning, in the spirit of strengthening those key skills to take on the new challenges of change. The challenge will then be to be able to balance the interests of the different groups involved: entrepreneurs and shareholders hope to leverage innovation to reduce costs and increase their profitability, employees are confident of retaining their jobs and continuing to generate ideas, and society in general demands value from companies to their environment, helping the communities where they install and take effective actions to care for the environment. The human species has survived and prevailed thanks to its creative ability, but it can also be guilty of its own debacle if it does not bet on a responsible innovation to generate comprehensive profits and sustained growth for all stakeholders.
