    El objetivo principal de este artículo es mostrar el tratamiento de lo sagrado en el pensamiento del filósofo y poeta Ramón Xirau. Autor de gran profundidad, perteneció, al igual que su padre, el filósofo y pedagogo Joaquín Xirau, a la tradición humanista cristiana. Después de exponer brevemente su biografía intelectual, nos detendremos en su particular concepción de la filosofía, en su interés por la poesía, para pasar a analizar uno de los temas que más le preocuparon, junto con la crisis del mundo occidental: la búsqueda de Dios y de lo sagrado.

    The main objective of this article is to show the treatment of the sacred in the thought of the philosopher and poet Ramón Xirau. An author of great depth, he belonged, like his father, the philosopher and pedagogue Joaquín Xirau, to the Christian humanist tradition. After briefly exposing his intellectual biography, we will stop at his particular conception of philosophy, his interest in poetry, to go on to analyze one of the issues that most concerned him, along with the crisis in the Western world: the search for God and of the sacred.
