    En este texto proveemos algunas claves para comprender el críptico ensayo “Karl Kraus” de Walter Benjamin. Para esto, destacamos la importancia de Kraus para la crítica periodística y política que le interesaba a Benjamin, introducimos al lector en las tres partes del ensayo y hacemos una breve reflexión sobre la construcción del concepto de crítica en Benjamin a partir de la obra de Kraus.

    In this paper we provide some keys for understanding the cryptic essay “Karl Kraus” by Walter Benjamin. For this purpose, we highlight Kraus’s importance for the journalistic and political criticism that Benjamin was interested in, we introduce the reader to the three parts of the essay and we make a brief reflection on the construction of the concept of critique in Benjamin based on the work of Kraus.
