“Cantici femminili”: come un fenomeno letterario nell’Antico Testamento

    En el Antiguo Testamento hay una serie de cánticos, muy similares a los salmos que, sin embargo, se han colocado en un contexto narrativo con el que mantienen una relación particular. Estos himnos, generalmente insertados, se han estudiado como unidades únicas, sin embargo, desde la década de los noventa, la atención de los estudiosos se ha centrado en la función que estos poemas cumplen en su contexto literario. Este artículo presenta un repaso de los “cantos insertados”, entre los que cuatro se atribuyen a mujeres (Ex 15,20-21; Juec 5,1-31; 1Sam 2,1-10; Jdt 16,1-17). Dado que estos cuatro poemas comparten las mismas características formales, literarias y contextuales, todos pueden considerarse “himnos de victoria”. También se presta especial atención a la naturaleza femenina de estos poemas y las consecuencias interpretativas resultantes.

    In the Old Testament there are a series of canticles, very similar to the psalms, except for the fact that each of them has been placed in a different narrative context. Such inset hymns have usually been studied separately, however since the nineties, scholars have rather turned their attention to the function that these poems perform within their literary context. This paper presents the overall view of these inset psalms, four of which are attributed to women (Ex 15:20-21; Jdg 5:1-31; 1Sam 2:1-10; Jdt 16:1-17). Since these four compositions share the same formal, literary, and contextual characteristics, they can all be considered “victory hymns”.

    Particular attention is also paid to the feminine nature of these poems and how this shapes their interpretation.
