  • Resumen
    • This paper proposes a focused literature review about student entrepreneurship (SE) by identifying the trend of the articles, leading journals, and prominent themes. A rigorous analysis of literature was carried out and a combination of text mining and content analysis was undertaken. The results of this study highlight that SE is becoming an increasingly attractive topic across management scholars. This research reveals the four following prominent themes: the analysis of students’ entrepreneurial intention, the preparation of students to become entrepreneurs through the entrepreneurship education offering, the development of students’ entrepreneurial behavior through educational programs designed to effective learning, and the involvement of students in developing university spin-offs and undertaking entrepreneur career. These results contribute to organize the current state of knowledge about SE and provide implications in theoretical, practical and social terms.
