    El concepto de “teatrocracia”, tomado por Georges Balandier del director, dramaturgo e historiador de teatro ruso de la década de 1920, Nikolai Evreinov, es útil hoy para entender ciertos elementos del desarrollo del movimiento social que comenzó en Chile en octubre de 2019. Para profundizar en él, recurriremos alanálisis de algunos de los mensajes/ acciones tanto del poder de dominación como del de resistencia en el escenario de este movimiento social nacional. Siguiendo a Balandier, buscaremos elementos en común entre sus teorías y lo que ha acontecido en Chile.

    Georges Balandier takes the concept of ‘theatercracy’, from the director, playwright and historian of the Russian theater of the 1920s, Nikolai Evreinov. This concept is useful today to understand certain elements in the development of the social movement that began in Chile in October 2019. For better understanding of this, in this article, we will analyze some of the messages / actions of both, the power of domination and the power of resistance, in the scenario of this national social. Following Balandier, we will look for elements in common between his theories and what has happened in this country.
