Migración, maternidad y denuncia: un nuevo campo de batalla en la dramaturgia española de mujer

    En el presente trabajo analizamos algunas obras de Angélica Liddell, Aurora Mateos y Antonia Bueno que abordan la problemática de las políticas migratorias de Occidente. En el centro de nuestro interés se halla la figura de la mujer embarazada y de la madre que se torna un constructo con potencial dramático de denuncia social. Al mismo tiempo, pretendemos examinar el proceso migratorio desde la perspectiva de un campo de batalla, en el marco del cual los migrantes quedan empujados al margen por el poder hegemónico.

    The paper investigates stage plays, which address the issue of Western European migration policies and focuses on the works of Angélica Liddell, Aurora Mateos and Antonia Bueno. The main analytical perspective are two female figures: a pregnant woman and a mother. Within the adopted framework both are perceived as constructs with dramatic potential for social denunciation. The study also aims to examine the migration processes in terms of a battlefield. The migrants, marginalized and excluded by the hegemonic power, are thus examined from the perspective of their agency within a conflictive space.
