Resumen de A educação física e sua visibilidade científica: um diálogo com docentes eméritos sobre os 35 anos do curso de educação física e os 20 anos do Caderno de Educação Física (e Esporte)
OBJETIVO: O presente texto tem como objetivo discutir a Educação Física na Universidade Estadual do Oeste do Paraná - Unioeste e sua visibilidade científica através de um diálogo com docentes eméritos do curso no contexto das comemorações dos 35 anos do curso de educação física e dos 20 anos da revista científica publicada pelo curso.
MÉTODO: A metodologia se delineia como um estudo exploratório, realizado através da técnica de entrevista informal com três professores que se aposentaram no ano em que se completaram os 35 anos do curso de Educação Física e os vinte anos de existência da Revista Caderno de Educação Física (e Esporte).
RESULTADOS: Os entrevistados avaliaram as principais transformações que ocorreram na formação de professores em Educação Física nos últimos anos e dialogaram sobre como eles vivenciaram estas mudanças ao longo de seu trabalho no curso. Também apresentaram sua visão sobre o surgimento da revista científica do curso e sua importância para a divulgação do curso.
CONCLUSÃO: Conclui-se que o curso de Educação Física atinge plenamente seus objetivos e que, diante das constantes modificações na formação de professores o curso de Educação Física sempre acompanhou e incorporou de maneira consciente as mudanças, adequando a formação aos interesses e necessidades regionais. Sobre a Revista científica os entrevistados defendem que ela vem atendendo os seus objetivos com sucesso, com uma boa comissão editorial, conselho editorial e editor preocupados com a sua qualidade, estimulando a publicação das pesquisas do próprio curso e de outros autores da área.
ABSTRACT. Physical education and its scientific visibility: a dialogue with teachers emeritus on the 35 years of the physical education course and 20 years of the Physical Education (and Sport) Journal.
OBJECTIVE: This text aims to discuss Physical Education at the State University of Western Paraná - Unioeste and its scientific visibility through a dialogue with teachers emeritus of the class in the context of the celebrations of the 35 years of the Physical Education course and 20 years of the scientific journal published by the course.
METHOD: The methodology is outlined as an exploratory study, conducted through the technique of informal interview with three teachers who retired in the year in which they completed the twentieth anniversary of the of Physical Education (and Sport) Journal.
RESULTS: The interviewees evaluated the main transformations that occurred in the formation of teachers in Physical Education in the last years and talked about how they experienced these changes during their course work. They also presented their vision on the emergence of the scientific journal of the course and its importance for the dissemination of the course.
CONCLUSION: It is concluded that the Physical Education course fully achieves its objectives and that, in view of the constant changes in teacher education, the Physical Education course has always accompanied and consciously incorporated the changes, adapting the training to regional interests and needs. About the Journal, the interviewees argue that it has been successfully meeting its objectives, with a good editorial committee, editorial board and editor concerned with its quality, encouraging the publication of research of the course itself and other authors in the field.
