    El presente artículo efectúa un análisis historiográfico del impacto en la cultura europea del monacato en la época de Cluny y su llegada a su culmen en la cultura europea. El monacato era una institución religiosa medieval preexistente, y desde el año mil, y con la ayuda del mundo Franco y el papado sale reforzado y posteriormente alcanza su esplendor.

    This article makes a historiographical analysis of the impact on European culture of monasticism in the Cluny era and its arrival at its peak in European culture. Monasticism was a pre-existing medieval religious institution, and since the year 1000, and with the help of the Franco world and the papacy, it was strengthened and later reached its splendor.
