    El objetivo principal de este estudio fue analizar la capacidad de esprintar en línea recta con y sin balón y la capacidad de cambiar de dirección en jugadores de baloncesto en silla de ruedas (BSR). Ocho jugadores (29,3 ± 12,0 años) masculinos de BSR de la primera división de la Liga española participaron en este estudio. Los resultados en los test de sprint 5 m y 20 m sin y con balón y en el T-test fueron de 1,68 ± 0,14 s, 5,27 ± 0,49 s, 1,98 ± 0,22 s, 6,54 ± 0,94 s y 14,43 ± 1,65 s, respectivamente. El coeficiente de variación (CV) intra sujeto fue inferior a 5,57%. Sin embargo el CV inter sujeto fue de 8,59-14,28%. Este aspecto pone de manifiesto que dentro de un equipo de BSR los resultados en un mismo test pueden variar considerablemente entre los jugadores, posiblemente debido a las diferencias funcionales individuales

    The purpose of this study was to determine the straight sprint ability with and without the ball and the change of direction ability in wheelchair basketball (WB) players. Eight male WB players of the first division of the Spanish League participated in this study. The results in the 5 m and 20 m straight sprint test without and with ball and in the T-test were 1.68 ± 0.14 s, 5.27 s ± 0.49, 1.98 ± 0.22 s, 6.54 ± 1.65 s, and 14.43 ± 0.94 s, respectively. The coefficient of variation (CV) was less than intra subject 5.57%. However, the inter subject CV was 8.59 to 14.28%. This aspect shows that within the WB team in the same test, results can vary considerably between players, possibly due to individual functional differences.
