Resumen de La actividad física a través de la educación en los tratados de príncipes: Luis vives

  No es una novedad el matiz polifacético de los autores humanistas, ya sean italianos, ingleses o españoles. Sin embargo es menos usual encontrar entre estos autores referencias a la actividad física. Será objeto de estudio del presente trabajo la máxima figura del humanismo español, Luis Vives, quien dedica en diferentes obras el estudio de nuestras ciencias desde una perspectiva totalmente diferente a la que estamos acostumbrados, la Pedagogía inmersa dentro del sistema educativo. El vehículo conductor serán los Tratados de Príncipes como verdaderos manuales de enseñanza para las clases más afortunadas de este período.

  The versatile nature of humanist authors, whether Italian, English or Spanish is well-known. However, it is less common to find among these authors references to physical activity. This research will focus on the leading figure of Spanish humanism, Luis Vives, who in a diverse number of works devoted to the study of sciences from a totally different perspective from the one we are accustomed to, that is, pedagogy immersed within the educational system. The scope of our work will also be the Treaties for the Education of Princes, genuine teaching manuals, for the most fortunate social classes of that time.
