  Con fecha 27 de octubre de 2020 ha sido aprobada por el Consejo de Ministros, la Estrategia Nacional de Infraestructura Verde y de la Conectividad y Restauración Ecológicas, una herramienta de planificación presentada como fundamental para identificar, conservar y recuperar los ecosistemas dañados de todo el territorio español y su conexión entre sí. Esta figura tiene su sustento jurídico en la Ley de Patrimonio Natural y de la Biodiversidad, en su redacción dada por la modificación operada por la Ley 33/2015, de 21 de septiembre, que la incorpora ex novo dentro de los instrumentos para el conocimiento y la planificación del patrimonio natural y de la biodiversidad.

  On October 27, 2020, the National Strategy for Green Infrastructure and Connectivity and Ecological Restoration was approved by the Council of Ministers, a planning tool presented as fundamental to identify, conserve and recover damaged ecosystems throughout the Spanish territory and their connection with each other. This figure has its legal support in the Natural Heritage and Biodiversity Law, in its wording given by the modification operated by Law 33/2015, of September 21, which incorporates it ex novo within the instruments for the knowledge and planning of natural heritage and biodiversity.
