Resumen de Aphis magellanica n. sp. del sur de Chile y Andinaphis n. syn. de Aphis (Hemiptera, Aphididae, Aphidina)

  Se describe Aphis magellanica n. sp. a partir de hembras vivíparas ápteras, hembras ovíparas y machos alados recogidos sobre Lathyrus magellanicus en Fuerte Bulnes (Punta Arenas, Magallanes, Chile) y se compara con otras especies nativas sudamericanas de la subtribu Aphidina (Hemiptera, Aphididae). Sus características junto con las de A. matilei, A. maulensis, A. vurilocensis y Andinaphis paradoxa permiten transferir esta última especie al género Aphis, estableciendo la nueva combinación Aphis paradoxa y además la sinonimia entre Aphis y Andinaphis n. syn. porque An. paradoxa es la especie tipo de Andinaphis

  Aphis magellanica n. sp. (Hemiptera, Aphididae, Aphidina) is described from apterous viviparous females, oviparous females, and winged males collected on Lathyrus magellanicus in Fuerte Bulnes (Punta Arenas, Magallanes, Chile), and it is compared with other native species belonging to the subtribe Aphidina (Hemiptera, Aphididae). The features of the new species, together with those of A. matilei, A. maulensis, A. vurilocensis and Andinaphis paradoxa, allow this last species to be transferred to the genus Aphis and to establish the new combination Aphis paradoxa and to establish the synonymy of Aphis and Andinaphis n. syn because An. paradoxa is the type species of Andinaphis
