    La presente investigación tuvo como objetivo mejorar las Actitudes Maternas de las internas del Establecimiento Penitenciario de Pacasmayo, mediante la formulación y aplicación de un programa. Se evaluaron a las madres de familia mediante el Inventario de Actitudes Maternas “Roth”. La investigaciónde diseño experimental, estuvo conformada por 35 internas. Los resultados muestran deficiencia en las dimensiones de sobre indulgencia y sobreprotección, tras la ejecución del programa, se detectaron cambios significativos en los dos factores mencionados, aumentando la cantidad de madres que presentan conductas positivas, disminuyendo las madres que gratifican excesivamente a sus hijos, dichos cambio proyectarán una mejor relación y por lo mismo conduce a un desarrollo más potencial pese a la privación de libertad de la madre.Palabras clave: Actitudes maternas, aceptación, sobreprotección, sobre indulgencia.

    The present research aimed to improve the Maternal Attitudes of the inmates ofthe Pacasmayo Penitentiary Establishment, by formulating and application of aprogram. The mothers were evaluated using the “Roth”Maternal Attitudes Inventory. The experimental design research consisted of 35 inmates. Theresults show deficiency in the dimensions of over indulgence and overprotection, after the execution of the program, significant changes were detected in the two factors mentioned, increasing the number of mothers who present positive behaviors, decreasing the mothers who excessively reward their children, said This change will project a better relationship and therefore leads to more potential development despite the mother's deprivation of liberty.Keywords: Maternal attitudes, acceptance, overprotection, over indulgence.
