La Revista de Morón es la publicación periódica más importante de la hemeroteca moronense. Editada y dirigida por José Plata y Nieto durante el primer tercio del siglo xx, en sus páginas se recogen los textos fundamentales de la historiografía local, además de trabajos literarios, genealógicos y científicos, no precisamente locales, de cierta notoriedad. Todo ello es posible sin dejar de lado la información del momento, la actualidad. Este es el caso del objeto de nuestro análisis, las crónicas sobre la guerra del Rif realizadas, entre el verano de 1921 y los últimos meses de 1925, por Rafael García-Plata y Parra y Antonio Martínez Rubio, ambos reporteros expedicionarios, y Fermín Requena Díaz, escritor e historiador.

The Revista de Morón is the most important periodical publication of the moronense newspaper archive. Edited and directed by José Plata y Nieto during the first third of the 20th century, its pages include the fundamental texts of local historiography, as well as literary, genealogical and scientific works, not exactly local, of a certain notoriety. All was possible without leaving aside the information of the moment, the present time. This the object of our analysis, the chronicles on the Rif war carried out, between the summer of 1921 and the last months of 1925, by Rafael García-Plata y Parra and Antonio Martínez Rubio, both expeditionary reporters, and Fermín Requena Díaz, writer and historian.
