Desde que México inició su proceso de apertura comercial, sólo algunas de sus organizaciones industriales han logrado mantener su presencia en los mercados internacionales; aunque actualmente están en poder de las Empresas Transnacionales. Es el caso de las productoras de tequila y cerveza, quienes han tenido un buen desempeño dentro de las exportaciones de México con sus socios comerciales. El objetivo de la presente comunicación es analizar la evolución y la situación actual de estas dos industrias, para determinar sus perspectivas de negocios en los mercados del Sureste Asiático, aprovechando la eventual entrada en vigor del Tratado Amplio y Progresista de Asociación Transpacífico.
Since Mexico began its process of commercial opening, only some of its industrial organizations have managed to maintain its presence in international markets; although they are currently held by the Transnational Companies. This is the case of the producers of tequila and beer, who have performed well in Mexico’s exports with their commercial partners. The objective of this communication is to analyze the evolution and the current situation of these two industries, to determine their business prospects in the Southeast Asian markets, taking advantage of the eventual entry into force of the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership.
