    La nueva modalidad del COVID-19 es una enfermedad demasiado contagiosa la cual puede llegar a ser mortal que estará con nosotros por largo tiempo. Las profesiones del área de la salud y la ciudadanía en general han sido partícipes de for-ma casi directa en todo lugar del mundo. Dentro del área odontológica ha cambiado de una etapa procedimiento clínico a una etapa donde el desarrollo de la barrera de protección, el seguimiento de los tratamientos y el tiempo que se les otorga a los pacientes cambiará el método de realizar la profesión. Dentro de este trabajo se pretende indicar las situaciones, indicaciones y recomendaciones basadas en el estudio disponible y elaborar un análisis de los ámbitos de la salud oral que se debería regirse en esta época de pandemia

    The new modality of COVID-19 is a highly contagious and potentially fatal disease that will be with us for a long time to come. The health professions and the general public have been involved almost directly throughout the world. Within the dental area it has changed from a clinical procedure stage to a stage where the development of the protective barrier, the follow-up of the treatments and the time given to the patients will change the method of performing the profession. Within this work we intend to indicate the situations, indications and recommendations based on the available study and to elab-orate an analysis of the areas of oral health that should be governed in this time of pandemic
