A muda lingüística na xuventude: momentos e factores

    Neste traballo explóranse, a través de entrevistas semiestruturadas,as narrativas biográficas de dezasete mozos e mozas galegas na procura de mudas lingüísticas (Pujolar [et al.] 2010) co obxectivo de comprender cales son os momentos vitais e os factores que propician cambios nos usos lingüísticos para unha mellor planificación das accións normalizadoras así como das políticas lingüísticas. A análise das traxectorias vitais das persoas entrevistadas, agrupadas segundo a súa lingua inicial, faise de maneira sistemática, atendendo a: contexto familiar e xeográfico, etapa educativa, entrada no mundo laboral e actitudes lingüísticas. Finalmente preséntanse nas conclusións os momentos e factores concretos que semellan propiciar a muda lingüística (se se produce), así como algúns dos aspectos sobre os que, tendo en conta os resultados deste traballo, deberían actuar as accións normalizadoras e as políticas lingüísticas.

    This paper explores, using semi-structured interviews, the biographical narratives of seventeen young Galician men and women in search of linguistic changes (Pujolar [et al.] 2010) aiming to understand which are the life moments and factors that favour changes in linguistic uses, so that normalizing actions and linguistic policies planification could be improved. The analysis of the life tra-jectories of the interviewees, grouped by initial language, is done in a systematic way, paying attention to family and geographical context, education, entering the world of work and linguistic attitudes. In the final conclusions, life moments and factors that seem to favour lin-guistic changes (if these take place) are presented, including some aspects to which normalizing actions and linguistic policies should pay more attention.
