    El artículo estudia la noción de cuerpo propio y su relación con el mundo en el pensamiento de J. Patočka. Primero  analiza la referencia al mundo de las características esenciales del cuerpo propio. Luego muestra en qué medida dicho cuerpo puede ser concebido como resultado del movimiento ontogénico, fenomenológico, regenerativo y teleológico de encarnación del mundo en el hombre. A continuación explicita el sentido último de la existencia corporal humana como movimiento ético de desencarnación del hombre para el mundo. Finalmente interpreta ambos movimientos de encarnación y desencarnación como testimonio de la acción de lo divino en el universo.

    The article deals with the notion of living body and its relationship with the world in J. Patočka’s thought. First, it analyzes the reference to the world provided by essential features of the living body. Then it shows the extent to which this body can be conceived as a result of the ontogenetic, phenomenological, regenerative, and teleological movement of embodiment of the world in human beings. Furthermore, the ultimate meaning of human bodily existence is explained as an ethical movement of disembodiment of human beings with regard to the world. Finally, the article interprets both movements of embodiment and disembodiment as a testimony to divine action in the universe.
