The fiftieth anniversary of the revolutionary upheavals of 1968 led to a resurgence of interest in the work of Argentine-born visual artist and poet, Leandro Katz (b. 1938). In particular, his Proyecto para el día que me quieras, a series of mixed-media installations devoted to Che Guevara’s final Bolivian campaign in 1967, was once again the subject of major exhibitions held in Mexico City and Buenos Aires.
