La realidad de un psicótico es diferente a la del resto de las personas. A través de su actividad delirante se construye un mundo particular, lo cual suele dificultar la comprensión de un individuo con esta patología. Los patrones culturales en este tipo de pacientes pueden ser muy diferentes, puesto que sus normas morales y costumbres pueden estar relacionadas con la alteración en la percepción de la realidad. Convivir con el delirio no debe ser fácil, y peor aún teniendo que asumir las alucinaciones auditivas en su vida cotidiana. Aquí, Manolo nos cuenta su experiencia con la enfermedad que, aunque la niega, nos permite aproximarnos al sufrimiento que le depara.

The reality of a psychotic is different from that of the rest of the people. Through their delirious activity a particular world is constructed, which usually makes difficult the understanding of an individual with this pathology. The cultural patterns in this type of patients can be very different, since their moral rules and customs can be related to the alteration in the perception of the reality.
