Resumen de El uso del artículo de investigación como una herramienta pedagógica en la formación inicial de los docentes

El presente artículo relata una experiencia pedagógica realizada con un grupo de futuros profesores de la Universidad de La Serena cuyos objetivos son familiarizar a los estudiantes con los artículos de investigación y conectar el contenido de los artículos de investigación con la práctica pedagógica. La experiencia realizada se llevó a cabo en tres sesiones en las cuales los estudiantes pudieron conocer una serie de artículos de diversas temáticas educativas para posteriormente seleccionar uno de ellos y buscar relaciones entre su contenido y la práctica que enfrentarán en el futuro. Los futuros docentes asumen que la lectura de artículos de investigación es una acción que contribuye a su formación y que les permite adquirir nuevas y mejores herramientas. Valoran especialmente que la lectura de los artículos les permitió tomar conciencia de problemas educativos que enfrentarán en la realidad, adquirir nuevos conocimientos y visionar las temáticas que deberán abordar en su rol como profesor jefe.

The present article relates a pedagogical experience carried out with a group of teacher in training of the University of La Serena whose objectives are to familiarize students with the research articles and connect the content of the research articles with the pedagogical practice. The experience was carried out in three sessions in which the students could learn a series of articles on various educational topics to later select one of them and find relationships between their content and the practice they will face in the future. Future teachers assume that reading research articles is an action that contributes to their training and that allows them to acquire new and better tools. They value especially that the reading of the articles allowed them to become aware of educational problems they will face in reality, acquire new knowledge and view the issues that they will have to address in their role as head teacher.
