Secondary mania has been associated with multiple causes and somatic diseases. It has also been associated with brain injuries, although such cases are rare and are usually described in relation to brain lesions. Cases of secondary mania after head injury without underlying brain lesions are extremely rare. We report a case of mania after head injury and provide a brief review of the literature.
