    En este artículo estudio las particularidades del narrador en la novela cervantina El celoso extremeño, teniendo en cuenta la bibliografía existente, la diferencia entre las dos versiones conservadas de la obra y el análisis atento del texto. Este proceso servirá para entender la configuración del narrador, explicar ciertas ambigüedades del texto y esbozar una interpretación del relato.

    In this article I study the peculiarities of the narrator in the Cervantine novel El celoso extremeño, taking into account the existing bibliography, the difference between the two preserved versions of the work and the careful analysis of the text. This process will help to understand the narrator's configuration, explain certain ambiguities of the text and outline an interpretation of the story.
